Set in the post-apocalyptic year of 1997, TURBO KID is a retro-futuristic nostalgic tribute to 80’s action-adventure films. The films follows a teenager must face his fears and become a reluctant hero when he meets a mysterious girl named APPLE. At its heart, the film is a crazy and engaging postmodern pastiche of 80’s excess, setting its extreme sadism and gore alongside a great deal of sweetness and genuine charm.
